In a landmark 2013 Hypertension report on alternative ways to lower blood pressure, researchers conformed that hand-grip exercises can reduce your number by about 10%. Researchers suggest using hand-grippers (at sporting goods store). Squeeze the gripper for 2 minutes at a time, for a total of 12 to 15 minutes, three times a week.

Small Fibs Lead to Big Whoppers #6608
Those little white lies might not be so harmless after all, say neuroscientists. In a new British study published in the journal Nature Neuroscience, brain scans of the amygdala - the region that responds to unpleasant emotional experiences – showed that the brain became desensitized with each successive falsehood. The more we lie, the less the brain responds. The result, researchers said, is a “slippery slope: What begins as small acts of dishonesty can escalate into larger transgressions”
