Prioritize by importance and immediacy #98
While many things are very immediate, they are not really that important to your personal growth but they have to get done, we have to breathe every second, drink every hour, eat every day, if the phone rings we need to answer it. Always differentiate by given your priorities 3 points for importance and 3 points for immediacy. Every morning assign your daily tasks and goals up to 6 points each, your partial list of priorities could look like this:
Work on ABC service proposal, importance=3, immediacy=3 total=6 points
Return my boss phone call, importance=1, immediacy=3 total=4 points
Return all my calls,importance=0, immediacy=3 total=3 points
Make my daily calls, importance=1, immediacy=2 total=3 points

You can do it all! #29
No matter how overwhelming the task in front of you, remember you have the same 24 hours as George Bush has today and Albert Einstein, Thomas Edison, Leonardo da Vinci and many other big producers had before. The answer may well be in how well we use those same hours using basically the same golden rules of time management like planning, prioritizing, delegating, dividing big task into smaller ones, measuring progress, etc.

Map out your errands #648
Sometimes I feel like I waste so much time driving around to run errands. I've found it helps when I make a list of everything I need to get done one week and then plan out how to get it all done with out crossing my tracks. One day for all the errands that are west of my house, another for the jobs that require me to head north. Even if it’s all in the same town, just planning out where I go helps to save so much time wasted from driving around in circles.

Shopping away #338
Save time at the grocery store by making a list of things you need to buy ahead of time. Try to avoid spontaneousely picking items from the store, because you will probably need to buy complimentary things that go with this extra item. Following your shopping list will save you time on wondering what to buy and money by not buying not needed items.
