Make lemons last longer. #6215
To ensure they don’t dry out too quickly, place them I a bowl of cold water and store in the fridge. The water will keep the lemons hydrated, so they’ll stay fresh for up to three months. (Change the water every week or so.)

If you are trying to reap the health benefits of green tea but the bitter flavor is not appealing to you. The experts suggest taking the freshly boiled water off the heat for 2 to 3 minutes before steeping the tea. The water will cool to less than 176ºF - preventing the release of the tea’s bitter tannins.

Keeping Lettuce Fresh for a Long time. #5908
Wash lettuce well and dry good with a paper towel. Wrap in another paper towel and place in a plastic bag closing tightly & put in refrigerator vegetable bin.
