Is Fluffy stalking the feeder? #6527
Stop him from preying on the feathered friends with the help of an orange. Simply peel the fruit and scatter the peels around the base of your bird feeder. Cats detest the smell of citrus, so Fluffy (and any feline friends) will steer clear. Plus putting a few pieces of citrus pulp on the feeder will attract hummingbirds and orioles.

Fast way to remove gum from Max's paw #6526
There is gum on the sidewalk and Max stepped on it. Now he has a gooey, sticky paw, and you want to remove the gum before he tries to chew it off since xylitol in sugar-free gum can be toxic to dogs. Just rub a few drops of vegetable oil into your dog’s paw all around the gum. The oil will work to disintegrate the gum in seconds so you can easily wipe it off wit a paper towel.

Quick fix for scratched wood #6366
Take the still-damp morning coffee grounds from the coffee pot and rub them into the marks using a cotton swab. Let the grounds sit for 10 to 15 minutes, then buff the area with a clean, dry cloth. The dark coffee grounds will stain the woods so scratches all but disappear, leaving you with a table that looks flawless. (Be sure to test on an inconspicuous spot first.)
