Protect your ears! #6040
As a musician, you owe it to yourself to invest in some earplugs. Use them during band practices and as much as you can at louder gigs. Don't forget to keep earplugs with you for music concerts, too.

Guitar Tip #6041
It is always necessary to have a good posture while playing any musical instrument so don't play with your guitar hung down near your knees. This serves to do nothing but hinder your ability to perform at an optimum level. Change your guitar strings often! And when you do it be sure to change them way ahead of the gig so that they have time to stretch in. There are many ways for tuning your guitar, this is the standard tuning E, A, D, G, B, E from low to high.

How to choose the right instrument… #6043
I propose three important factors to consider. First of all, your music interest and what musical instruments you like the most. To be sure it’s better to try out different types of instrument and then make your choice. Then try to think about how much money you can afford to pay for your instrument. Also size and weight are also important points to consider. If you make a big investment maybe the best you can do is to start with group lessons that are cheaper than private ones.
