Cleaning Strawberries #5018
To keep strawberries whole when you clean them, just insert a thin plastic drinking straw from the bottom and push it up. It should slide right trough the top taking the stem and leaves.

Sautéing Without Fat #2252
When sautéing vegetables, replace part or all of the fat using broth, sherry, white wine or another liquid. For every tablespoon of butter you eliminate, you will save 100 calories and 11 grams of fat. Each time you eliminate a tablespoon of oil; you will save 120 calories and 14 grams of fat.

Bye Bye sauce stains on Plastic. #804
To clean plastice that has been used to store sauce, wash in cold water and detergent First. Then rinse and wash as usual. Hot water only causes the palastic to retain the stain.
