Morning Meditation is a great way to start the day #5988

Every morning is a great time to integrate a simple meditation practice into your life. After waking up, find some place comfortable to sit and begin by taking in a few deep breaths to welcome the new day. Welcome thoughts of peace, welcome the light of the new day, welcome your mind to your own beautiful self that is happily entering a new day.

It is a great time to think positively about the day to come and envision all of the good things that will come to pass. Or to simply sit and breath and listen to the peace of your body for 5 - 15 minutes. If you have trouble keeping your mind from wandering, you can incorporate a mantra, or phrase that you repeat over and over again, to help you focus.

Some mantra examples are:

My mind is filled with peace.
I am a peaceful loving soul.
I feel the gentle waves of peace flowing across my mind.
My mind feels light and free from worries.
I realize my real nature is peace.
I am a being of light shining like a star.
I radiate peace and love to the world.
