If you’re straggling to make a tough decision after examining the issue from all angles, make a point to stand firmly in place. A new study in the journal Psychological
Science had subjects try tai chi movements that involved swaying left and right and discovered the body movements increased people’s ambivalence. Similarly, when subjects stood on a Wii Balance Board as they read an article that presented and issue’s pros and cons, they literally swayed from side to side. Only when prompted to pick a side people stop swaying.
