Fast Tick Removal #6336
If you notice a dreaded black dot on Charlie the pet use this easy effective removal trick from the CDC&P: Cut a 3 inch length of dental floss, tie it in a loop and place over the tick, aiming to tighten it right where the head comes into contact with the skin. Next, gently and steady pull the floss straight back to remove the bug. Then either flash it down the toilet or place in a seal container to take it to the vet for inspection.

Clean a coffeepot #6460
Clean a coffeepot without scrubbing is made easy by dropping a handful of pennies and 2Tbs. of vinegar in it. Let sit for a few minutes, and then swirl the pot around repeatedly. Empty out the vinegar and the pennies before rinsing the pot with boiling water. The vinegar’s acetic acid helps dissolve residue while the edges of the pennies work to scrape the residue away.

Safe and Friendly Pest Control #5728
Palmolive dish soap with lemon scent will keep all types of bugs away and out of your house. Ants will be killed and their ant trail will be abandoned. Just outline the window skill or crack and the entrance is sealed. It's also a snap for cleaning when needed, just add water and wipe. It's a safe way to get rid of pest without using poisons, that's especially nice with children and pets around.
It works great! Sue Dillow
