Tips for Second Hand #6047

If you want to buy second-hand clothes the best thing you can do is to wake up early because the best pieces go first. Second-hand and vintage clothing is unique so feel free to be an impulse shopper most of the time. If you don't get right then and there, it may not be available later. Be careful! Since the sizes on labels of vintage clothes have no correlation to the sizes of today's clothing, it is important to try things on or measure them before purchasing.

Save money at the Grocery Store! #6044

What I do first is to set a limit of money to spend, then do a quick inventory of the kitchen to determine the food that I need. A good idea is to write down a shopping list to organize yourself. Don´t forget the applicable coupons that you may want to use. Once in the grocery store try the store brands they are cheaper - often the taste is equal to the national brands. Always watch the scanner! This will help you to know if prices are correct and the cashier will be more alert. And most importantly, avoid impulse buys!

Dress comfortably for a big day of shopping. #6048

If you´re planning to go shopping the best you can do is to dress comfortably, wear something quite loose that is easy to put on and take off. Also wearing the appropriated shoes is good if you´ll be walking around for hours. Your feet will thank you at the end of the day!

Tips for Christmas Shopping #6052

Doing Christmas shopping is always a nightmare when you´re not prepared. First of all, try to be polite. Treat others as you wish to be treated. Don´t argue and fight while you're in the stores, even if it's down to the last gift you want. Count down from ten! Remember that everyone else is out shopping the same as you are and they want to get their gifts and items just as fast as you do. Often in this period stores are open 24 hours so a good idea is to go shopping early or at odd hours like 12 am until 5 am. This might save you from some unnecessary Christmas stress.
