Quick fix for embarrassment #6618
If a gaffe at a party leaves you feeling awkward, head though the nearest doorway to another room. In a new study in The Quarterly Journal of Experimental Psychology, researchers had participants work their way through virtual space made up of various rooms and doorways. The surprising discovery: People had weaker memories for details in rooms they’d just left. Dubbed the “doorway effect,” crossing the threshold from one space to another prompts the brain to store memories related to the room they just left. This consolidation process creates a mental boundary, so the specifics are no longer top of mind, making recall more difficult.

Racism #5772
I must have been raised right as I am not racist at all. This includes judging people by color, race, religion, size or any other way people choose to judge someone. As a matter of fact I live to the tune of I will be friends with anyone as long as they don't try to take advantage of me. Also, stop and think, if the whole world went blind for 30 days, you may be surprised who you had made friends with when your eyesight came back!!!

Could just this be “Paradise right here where you are; Nirvana within you not somewhere afar?” Though some would decry it and say it can't be just follow along if you long to be free. Your life's what you make it - your choices each day the thoughts that you harbor and words that you say determine the status of your life today. So if you want more than you think you have now watch closely your mindset and you'll find out how to “Just live in the present.” Think only the best about yourself first and then all the rest of your brothers and sisters - you'll find that you're blest and really in paradise. It's all in your mind. Whatever you look for is just what you'll find.

As it should be... #6312
Science says that for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction, a cause and effect, therefore all is as it should be or it would be different.
