When baking goodies (cakes, cookies, brownies etc.) you can cut the oil in half by adding 2/3 more water...it makes the dessert lighter, and much less greasy.

Mock Sour Cream #1325
Make your own sour cream in your blender by mixing:
1-cup low-fat cottage cheese with ½-cup low-fat yogurt.
Add a few drops of lemon juice.
It will taste as good as the real thing at fewer calories.

Just add a tablespoon of vinegar to each cup of regular milk. Wait ½ an hour before using.
